Adi Dassler started the company known as "adidas' and created the first ever football boot with the iconic 3 Stripes in 1949. In 1954 the first ever boot with screw in studs was born, when the German National Team took on the unbeatable Hungarians and won. Later in 1970, the official ball of the World Cup was delivered for the first time, the TELSTAR. The brand has provided the World Cup with the official ball ever since.
