FOREVER. FASTER. PUMA.
After founding a company with his brother (Adi, later went onto create adidas) in 1919, Rudolf founds his own company, Puma in 1948 after the two have a falling out. After their first football boot, the 'Atom' in 1950, the 'Super Atom' causes a stir in 1952 also claiming to have developed the world's first boot with screw in studs.
Fast forward to 1966 and Ballon d'Or winner Eusebio is named top goal scored of the World Cup in Puma boots. In honor of the achievement, the PUMA KING is introduced and later worn by Brazilian legend Pele in 1970 and Argentinian Superstar, Maradona in 1986. Following in their footsteps, Neymar Jr., Manchester City, AC Milan and Dortmund are all part of the Puma family, with Serbia, Morocco and Egypt a few of their National team acquisitions.
